Party at the brewery, "Het Anker" in Mechelen

The Brewery

"Brouwerij Het Anker" is one of the oldest in Belgium (1369).
The brewery is a collection of buildings on the edge of the city center of Mechelen, build over the course of centuries. After years of decline they have been renovated in the 90's

It best known beers are the double fermented special beer "Gouden Carolus" and the excellent lager "Blusser"

The party will happen at the restaurant on the brewery site.
Because of strict hygiene requirements in the European food industry visiting the brewery itself is sadly not possible any more.

Food and Drinks

A limited but tasty selection of meats, poultry and vegetables are offered by the KDE e.V.

There will be an open bar starting at 19:00 until 22:00 during which all beers and sodas and walking dinner are free for Akademy participants. If you want something to drink before or after that time it will have to be on your own cost.

There is a small shop in the restaurant where you can buy the local beers.
Prices are between €3 and €5 for a 75cl gift box.

Time

The Social Event will happen in the evening of Saturday the 9th.
Doors will open at 18:30 but free drinks will only start at 19:00
