Speaker: Park Shinjo

KDE 4 introduces a new API called Transcript. With Transcript, translators can transform dynamic strings, provided as %1 on translation messages. Some languages could use it to change the case of the word. In Korean Language, there are some postposition changing by preceding consonant. Most of Korean programs deal with this situation by displaying all two possible cases. Transcript make it possible to automatically decide what postposition we should use. This is the second attempt of its kind in Korea; Hangeul LaTeX was the premier project in this effort. I will introduce about the Korean postpositions, and the way to deal with this, and the way I used transcript to automatically resolve the postposition problem.
