Distributing KDE: Fedora 9

Speaker: Rex Dieter

I'd like to share my experiences helping to create Fedora 9, one of the first linux distributions to include KDE 4.0. Challenges were many, but I'd like to focus 2 main topics: building community and upstream/downstream collaboration.

Being able to attract and mentor contributing users and developers to explore various avenues of collaboration, I believe, is a bright path to a better KDE end product.
